Statement from Lanner Parish Council COVID -19

In response to the need for self-isolation of more vulnerable members of our community and in response to government advice the Council has decided to cancel all meetings until further notice. Council will conduct business by email and written records will be preserved. The Council office will be closed to public access from Friday 20 March. Contact can be made through email: or telephone to 01209 200551

There is also information and advice available on the Council website which also links to other agencies.

The forthcoming community litter pick and tree planting is postponed and will take place in the autumn.

Council offer a plea to all residents to buy only what you actually need and to resist the urge to stockpile. There are national strategies in place to ensure that supplies will be available for everyone, but these will fail if people shop beyond normal patterns. This is applicable to medicines, items for personal care and groceries.

Please follow all Government guidelines to have the greatest success of stopping the progression and devastating effect of the progression of this virus.
