Lanner Parish Council needs a new team member; if you think you would like to take the wishes of the Parish Plan forward and can satisfy the legal criteria, please contact the Clerk for an application form and further information.
To be a Parish Councillor you must be aged over 18 and be a Commonwealth citizen (which includes a British subject) or a Euro national.
In addition, you must satisfy ONE of the following conditions:
- You must have, during the whole of the preceding 12 months, occupied as owner or tenant any land or premises in the parish.
- Your principal or only place of work during the preceding 12 months has been in the parish.
- You must have, during the whole of the preceding 12 months, resided in the parish or within 4.8 km of the parish.
- You must be registered as a local government elector for the Parish.
Don’t delay be part of the Decision Making, Monitoring and being involved locally.
As a councillor representing your community you will help keep Lanner a great place to live and work.
