Lanner Parish Council Planning Committee. Minutes of a meeting held on Tuesday 12 March 2019 in Lanner Village Hall.

Present: Cllr Luscombe (Chair), Cllr Repper, Cllr Marshall, Cllr Wearne and Cllr Wood
In attendance: Elaine Youlton, Clerk and Teresa Marshall, Assistant Clerk

PL19/28: Apologies: Cllr Anson (Other Commitment) Cllr Bosworth (Other Commitment)
Although Councillors had been previously notified, receipt of the resignation of Cllr Matt Blewett was noted. Council expressed thanks for the work he had undertaken on behalf of Council.

Cornwall Council had been advised of the resignation so that formal procedures can be completed without delay. The vacancy would be advertised and if 10 or more residents did not request an election the position would be filled by cooption. Confirmation of required actions would be received after 29 March 2019.
It was agreed that the evening for Planning Meetings would change to be held on the second Thursday of each month as this would allow Cllr Bosworth to attend future meetings.

Minutes of the meeting held on 12 February 2019 were approved and duly signed by the Chairman.

Resolved: Council SUPPORT this application. It was suggested that reference to the general-purpose agriculture building needs to be removed as this is confusing terminology.

Resolved: In order to fully consider this application Council required further information and answers to a range of questions regarding the proposed use of the building had been requested.

The Planning Authority had advised that these queries are being considered and investigated by the County Land Agent. Once a reply has been received Council will be able to submit informed comment.
