Lanner Parish Council. A meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 27 February 2020 in Lanner Village Hall. Public Participation will be held at 7pm and the meeting will commence at 7.15pm. Members of the Council are summonsed to attend the meeting, to which press & public are invited. 2. To receive resignation from Tamsin Watson and consider steps for seeking a replacement co-option.

8. Community Governance Review: Cllr Wood
• To confirm who will attend at meeting of Governance Review panel on Wednesday 4 March, 7pm at Heartlands Pool.
• To agree submission and delivery of representation at Panel meeting.

9. Lanner Village Hall Trustees – Cllr Wood
• To receive update on process/requirements to affect transfer of hall to Parish Council.

10. Highways and Transport – Cllrs Wearne and Wood
• Update on positioning and effectiveness of mobile speed activated signs.
• To confirm sharing of data collected with police and Adrian Drake, Highways
• To note cancellation of meeting with Adrian Drake, Cormac, on 18 February and consider new date for meeting.

11. CPIR/MVRG- Cllrs Anson & Wood
• To note date of next meeting of CPIR– 24 March 2020– and confirm attendance.
• To note date of next meeting of MVRG – 12 March 2020 – and confirm attendance.
• To note invitation to CPIR Climate Change Event held on 22 February
12. Parish Plan: Cllr Wood
• To receive feedback on draft of Parish Plan– previously circulated
• To receive draft proposal for effective monitoring of Parish Plan
• To confirm availability as an electronic copy only.

13. Police Liaison:
• To receive report of police actions to address crime in Lanner and surrounding areas.
• To receive report of actions taken to address the use of off-road vehicles on footpaths and bridleways.

• To receive statistics relating to usage – previously circulated
• To receive update on construction of updated website.

15. United Downs – Deep Geothermal Project: – Cllr Bosworth
• To receive update on progress of the project.
• To confirm submission of application for funding to support planting of trees and community litter pick.

16. Christmas Lights: Cllrs Marshall & Bilham
• To receive report of meeting held on 19 February 2020 to discuss preparations for switch on event 2020.
• To confirm refund from Western Power Distribution in recognition of reduced workload for installation of power supply.
• To confirm completion of remedial works to fix street furniture by Kier.

17. Environment: Cllrs Bilham, Luscombe, Repper, Wearne and Wood
• Footpaths: To receive reports from Volunteer Footpath Walkers
• To receive report following meeting with Gavin Henderson 26 February to discuss damage to surface of Tresavean Tramway, 216/26, caused by vehicular access.
• To receive update of progress of works and continued damage and collapse of a section of hedge, through water run off to Mineral Trail 216/3 at Carn Marth
• Mining Trails Forum: to receive information relating to funding bid and completion of surveys. To note next meeting deferred to 25 March at Chacewater
• To receive report following meeting to discuss Community Litter Pick and Tree Planting events.
• To note dates of events: Community Litter Pick Saturday 28 March 10 to 12 noon and Tree Planting Saturday 4 April from 10 am.
• To receive update on “We’re Watching You” trial campaign
• To consider recognition for young people undertaking monitoring and publicity for this campaign.
• To consider further events to promote anti dog fouling

18. Community: Cllrs Anson, Bosworth, Luscombe, Marshall, Wearne & Wood
• To receive report following removal of poppy wreaths from the lychgate
• To consider alternative methods of display
• To confirm length of time displayed and confirm removal
• To consider request from Pastor Jenny Lockwood to hold an Easter egg hunt on Church Green on Saturday 4 April between 11 am and 2 pm.
• To note donation of litter bin and consider suitable location and arrangements for emptying.

19. Parish Assets:
Toilets and Playing Fields: Cllr Wearne & Wood
• Safety Inspections/to note repairs to defects
• To receive update on future arrangements for repairs to doors.

Lawn Cemetery & Churchyard: Cllr Wood
• To clarify responsibility for maintenance of the lychgate within the new Service Level Agreement with Cornwall Council
• To receive report following removal of poppy wreaths from the lychgate
• To consider alternative methods of display of wreaths
• To confirm length of time displayed and confirm arrangements for removal
• To receive report on works undertaken by Cormac to clear vegetation, upgrade paths and actions taken to make safe unstable monuments.
• To consider method of planning and managing further tasks with support from volunteers.
• To receive update on erection of post and rail fence adjacent to new entrance.
• Update on work to extension.
• Mapping and recording of burials.

Lanmoor Entrance splays:
• To receive information from Cornwall Council regarding devolution with an interim license to occupy.
