I have lived in Lanner for over 40 years. I am married with three grown up children and three grandchildren. Our children went to Lanner nursery and primary school. I am now retired having been at different times a house husband, a qualified professional gardener and a wholefoods retailer. We started a shop in Camborne and market stalls in Helston and Redruth and have been running a delivery service up to my retirement.
I am currently, and have been for the past three years, the chair of the Carn Marth Trust, a position I also held in the nineties for 10 years. It’s a group I have supported from the beginning.
Since retiring I spend a lot of time with our family, but I also enjoy gardening, walking, (especially on the Carn), films, music and reading. I have also started keeping bees for the last couple of years which I find fascinating.
I was co-opted onto the council in August 2018. This is a position In which I hope to contribute to life in the Parish as much as I am able.
