Minutes of a meeting held on Thursday 9 February 2012 in Lanner Village Hall.

In attendance Mr Rossignol, Mr Whipp.
Mr Whipp spoke on his application PA12/00245 for a new dwelling at Bell Veor. Having had a previous application for 2 dwellings previously refused on appeal he is now applying for a single detached dwelling for his family to occupy. He has consulted his neighbours who may make their own submissions to Cornwall Planning department.

PL12/016: Cornwall Council Consultations
Core Strategy
It was resolved to respond as per the response drafted for MVRG.
New Community Fire Stations
Concern was expressed about the proposed siting of the new fire station at Tolvadden which is a particularly congested area. The PC was supportive of Cllr. Kaczmarek’s suggestion that the Avers site would be more suitable. There was a lack of detailed information in the consultation document. Matters requiring clarification include proposed levels of appliances and firefighters and estimated response times for Lanner Parish.

Cornwall Council Information about the expansion of Householder Team (West)
(Clerk to ask about notification of details of ‘minor’ applications).
Cornwall Council Request for details of suitable potential sites for the Strategic
Planning Team Housing Land Availability Assessment.
(LPC is unable to respond until the Tresavean JR has been decided. If the Tresavean permission is quashed LPC will suggest sites).
Cornwall Council Planning training calendar for 2012/13. Clerk to email members.
Cornwall Council Agenda for planning committee 1 February.
PL12/018: AOB at Chairman’s discretion
Given the current uncertainties about new bus contracts after 1 April the Clerk distributed details of the current service to Trevarth.
PL12/019: Update on Tresavean/Coastline development judicial review.
The issue of claim is still awaited.
